Job Summary

Lead system-level project engineering for Waygate Technologies’ non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions, driving end-to-end delivery from design/build/test to final customer acceptance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project management, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and safety), prepare technical proposals and cost calculations for customized UT systems, and perform system/component design reviews. Support installation, assembly, commissioning, and training, while partnering with global teams and engineers on new product development.

•Lead a team to design, build, test, and deliver complete machines at system level through final acceptance at customer sites.
•Work with cross-functional teams to track and control technical issues across project execution.
•Develop technical solutions, detailed proposals, and cost calculations for customized UT testing systems based on customer requirements to support sales.
•Perform design reviews across system, component, and sub-system levels within the BH review process across diversified domains.
•Support on-site installation, assembly, commissioning, and training to achieve final customer acceptance, including solving detailed technical problems with system-level knowledge.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or above) in an engineering domain such as NDT, mechanical, automation, materials, or a related field.

•10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building automatic machinery and equipment in system engineer roles.
•Direct development and project experience in the NDT industry for large or customized UT testing systems is an advantage.
•Demonstrated technical leadership in a multi-domain engineering team, with effective communication in Chinese and English.
