Job Summary

Engineering internships across Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Civil, Test, Integration and Field teams. Interns take on meaningful ownership, work on TBM systems, tunnel infrastructure, data collection/analysis for the Las Vegas Loop, and Autocad Civil 3D tasks, collaborating across disciplines in Bastrop, Las Vegas and Nashville locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Design or support the design of various systems and sub-systems related to operations such as boring machine parts, support systems, tunnel segment production, passenger/construction vehicles and tunnel infrastructure.
•Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical instrumentation in tunnels and on tunnel boring machines.
•Help build automation and application software for TBMs and data tools to operate, analyze and control TBMs and Las Vegas Loop systems.
•Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist in the preparation of civil engineering details, design plans, reports, and meeting exhibits.
•Track and report on day-to-day activities, assist with site surveying and determining site conditions for in-ground infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering or a related field.
•Prior experience in mechanical, software, electrical, or construction projects (industry or school).
•Demonstrated ability to work on projects with teams from multiple engineering disciplines.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
•Not-a-Boring-Competition experience is a plus.
