Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and develop new global casting and machining commodity suppliers in India.
  • •Create and execute regionalization and risk-mitigation sourcing inputs to ensure material supply surety.
  • •Drive cost savings through negotiation, consolidation, leverage, and e-sourcing tools aligned to global supply chain goals.
  • •Manage global supplier matrices for quality, speed, cost, lead time, and performance across new and existing programs.
  • •Lead supplier development and support improvements in quality, delivery, capacity, and cost competitiveness, including resolving supplier supply-chain problems and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 5–8 years of experience in supplier development and management.
  • •Experience with commodities such as castings, forging, and machining.
  • •Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes including casting, machining, forging, and metal forming.
  • •Familiarity with cost estimation and strong negotiation skills.
  • •Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization with strong project management skills from strategic sourcing to execution, and proficiency in English and MS Office.
