Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage employee FMLA, disability, and personal leave tasks per company policy and applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including entering leave and return-to-work dates and following up on inconsistencies or missing documentation.
  • •Serve as a point of contact for employees and plant/corporate leaders regarding employee leaves and benefits, including 401(k) and other employee welfare programs, and assist with claim resolution and electronic benefit processes.
  • •Update, research, and resolve enrollment, marital status, and dependent verification discrepancies in Workday to ensure accurate eligibility, enrollment, and deductions; partner with Corporate Benefits when needed.
  • •Coordinate Workers Compensation claims with Safety/EHS by ensuring data is entered correctly and required documentation is collected and available.
  • •Partner with Corporate Benefits on open enrollment events and employee education, and identify process improvement opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year experience in a human resources generalist environment, including leave administration with knowledge of FMLA and ADA legal requirements (highly preferred).
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • •Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; Workday or similar HCM experience preferred.
  • •Effective written and verbal English communication with internal and external customers; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
  • •Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
