Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport vehicles, equipment, and Class IX materiel.
  • •Support equipment turn-in operations by hauling assets from Army units to the site or designated locations.
  • •Assist with loading, securing, and unloading cargo using chains, binders, straps, and blocking/bracing.
  • •Perform PMCS before, during, and after operations; report deficiencies and coordinate repairs.
  • •Complete shipping and transport documents and maintain driver logs, trip tickets, fuel records, and inspection sheets; update TC-AIMS II/GCSS-Army when required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B as required) and a real ID.
  • •3–5 years of heavy truck driving experience (prior Army or contractor logistics experience preferred).
  • •Ability to operate heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and MHE safely with strong attention to detail for load securement and documentation.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and obtain Tier1/NACI (Public Trust) background eligibility; pass background check and drug testing.
