Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate reports, dashboards, and aggregated metrics before customers see them, reconciling results against upstream APIs and raw source data.
  • •Independently verify calculations and clarify/document business metric definitions when they are ambiguous.
  • •Design and implement automated data quality checks (e.g., Soda expectation frameworks) including data freshness, volume, distribution, and business expectations.
  • •Test Airflow DAGs and Databricks jobs, validating scheduling, dependencies, backfills, failure recovery, and data integrity.
  • •Develop and maintain automated and manual tests for REST and GraphQL APIs, documenting investigations and communicating quality risks to technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of QA experience with strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • •Strong SQL skills to independently write complex queries and validate data against an upstream source of truth.
  • •Experience investigating reporting or data discrepancies and reconciling data against APIs and raw source data.
  • •2+ years of automation experience, including experience testing REST APIs.
  • •Experience with Playwright, or Selenium/Cypress with a willingness to transition.
