Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal support for a portfolio of agreements and internal stakeholders, primarily for NBCUniversal’s Sourcing and Operations & Technology groups.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate corporate transaction agreements, including M&A and related activities.
  • •Advise on contractual rights and duties, contract interpretation, and pre-litigation dispute resolution.
  • •Coordinate with Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance teams to ensure personal data and confidential information are collected, used, and secured appropriately.
  • •Support legal services delivery by partnering with internal stakeholders and assisting business unit attorneys on related transactions.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • •Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York.
  • •4+ years of experience at a law firm or comparable in-house position.
  • •Prior experience with M&A, technology, data security, or intellectual property issues is a plus.
  • •Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong deal/deadline prioritization.
