Lead security risk and compliance for the Americas as Deputy CISO, with a clear path to owning the Regional CISO role. Key Responsibilities

•Defend audits, perform risk assessments, and conduct technical architecture reviews across the Americas estate.
•Own the Americas security risk and compliance program, including policies, controls, risk register, regulatory engagement, and reporting.
•Manage the US GRC lead and partner with the US SecOps lead on operational risk and incident response.
•Build relationships with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit, and represent security in Americas leadership forums.
•Prepare for and increase regulator and licensing engagement, spotting gaps early and driving action plans through delivery.

Key Requirements

•Solid GRC and risk grounding from a regulated industry (TradFi) or regulated crypto, with direct crypto experience a plus.
•Enough technical depth to hold your own in architecture or risk conversations with highly technical engineers.
•Demonstrated curiosity and self-directed learning beyond years-of-experience.
•Confident, clear communication with executives, auditors, and regulators.
•Comfortable with ambiguity and working within a lean team and an outsourcing model.
