Job Summary

Lead Pipeline Engineer responsible for the design and delivery of pipeline systems across lifecycle for mining, oil & gas, and water sectors; coordinate multi-location projects (Houston, Tampa, Kansas City, Detroit, East Chicago) with engineering teams to deliver FEED, route studies, permits, detailed design, procurement, construction support, and client communications.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely perform field and office work and operate vehicles on behalf of the company
•Design pipelines systems across lifecycle including planning, FEED, route selection, permitting, detail design, procurement, construction, and decommissioning
•Provide engineering support to routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical detailed design of liquid, gas and/or slurry pipelines
•Coordinate field investigations and surveys, environmental delineations, geotechnical/hydrologic studies, and ROW activities as needed
•Prepare and review technical documents, cost estimates, and client communications, ensuring delivery per company procedures and quality plans

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
•7-10 years pipeline design experience (consulting or operating company)
•Engineer in Training (EIT) required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
•Knowledge of liquids and gas design codes and regulations (49 CFR Part 192/195, ASME B31.4/31.8, AWWA M11)
•Familiar with Pipeline Toolbox, AutoPIPE/CAESAR II, PipeFLO, and AFT Impulse; willing to travel up to 25%
