Job Summary

Own the GL accounting and manage month-end/quarter-end close for Global Payments (PIPO) and newly licensing entities across EMEA. Lead reconciliations between IFRS and local GAAP, prepare and review reporting packages, and support statutory audits with external auditors. Partner with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Compliance to ensure payment flow accounting and regulatory readiness for FCA/BaFin/CBI/DFSA submissions. Use IFRS expertise and internal controls to support regulated entity integration.

Key Responsibilities

•Own GL accounting and manage month-end/quarter-end closing for PIPO entities and in-scope entities pursuing financial authorities’ licences across EMEA.
•Partner with PIPO Business, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accurate and compliant accounting for payment flows, safeguarding accounts, client money, and intercompany settlements.
•Lead readiness workstream for newly licensed entities, including chart of accounts setup, opening balance migration, accounting policy alignment, and internal controls for the regulatory environment.
•Prepare and review monthly reconciliations between IFRS and local GAAPs and ensure timely, accurate reporting packages to Group Finance.
•Support statutory financial statement preparation and manage external auditor relationships to deliver audits within agreed timelines.

Key Requirements

•BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•ACA/ACCA fully qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
•Experience supporting entities through a regulatory licensing process (e.g., EMI/PI) is highly desirable.
•Strong, collaborative communication with cross-functional and regulatory stakeholders.
