Key Responsibilities

•Own the product roadmap for Alpaca’s internal workflows and tooling, driving high-impact initiatives end-to-end.
•Drive root cause analysis and resolve complex, high-risk operational problems (e.g., AML/KYC workflows, reconciliations, corporate actions, tax reporting, security master data).
•Design an automation strategy leveraging internal tooling, AI, and workflow orchestration to support 100x growth and eliminate critical failure modes.
•Define clear success metrics and SLAs; write specifications, map processes, and work cross-functionally to ship high-leverage tooling.
•Design and manage a data framework for selecting strategic projects by blending inputs from Risk, Sales, and Support; enforce operational capacity standards.

•Experience in Product Management or technical operations roles, with a focus on FinTech, Brokerage, or Payments platforms; including leading cross-functional projects and securing resources against competing initiatives.

•Automation Obsessed: A deep passion for applying workflow automation and AI trends pragmatically to brokerage operations.
•Operational Knowledge: Strong functional knowledge of brokerage or financial operations (settlements, reconciliations, client money, best execution) and regulatory risk mitigation.
•Financial Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with broker-dealer platforms, clearing firms, or trading infrastructure, with exposure to post-trade workflows.
