Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all duties of a Contract Security Officer (CSO) and provide physical security services at TVA facilities, including offices, dams, substations, warehouses, and critical infrastructure sites.
  • •Ensure continuous staffing coverage for assigned security posts and shifts while monitoring and enforcing security procedures, policies, and site-specific requirements.
  • •Oversee access control operations, including verifying credentials and ensuring visitor badge/pass issuance and accountability.
  • •Conduct foot and vehicle patrols, monitor perimeters and restricted areas, identify and report suspicious activity and security concerns.
  • •Respond to alarms and security incidents, document and report incidents, and provide supervision through scheduling, onboarding, training, and compliance/quality assurance.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two (2) years of successful field supervisory experience in civilian law enforcement, military service, security force operations, or commercial/industrial security environments (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience).
  • •High school diploma or GED required; additional education in criminal justice, security management, law enforcement, military studies, or related fields is preferred.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, including proficiency in report writing and documentation.
  • •Knowledge of access control, patrol operations, incident response, and physical security principles; ability to manage multiple priorities and staffing requirements.
