Serve as a working supervisor overseeing daily security operations at TVA non-nuclear facilities across Tennessee and surrounding states. Perform Contract Security Officer duties while leading and supporting site security through staffing coverage, patrols, access control, incident response, inspections, and compliance with TVA and federal requirements. Provide supervision, training, scheduling, documentation, and serve as the primary security point of contact during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform all duties of a Contract Security Officer (CSO) and provide physical security services at TVA facilities, including offices, dams, substations, warehouses, and critical infrastructure sites.
•Ensure continuous staffing coverage for assigned security posts and shifts while monitoring and enforcing security procedures, policies, and site-specific requirements.
•Oversee access control operations, including verifying credentials and ensuring visitor badge/pass issuance and accountability.
•Conduct foot and vehicle patrols, monitor perimeters and restricted areas, identify and report suspicious activity and security concerns.
•Respond to alarms and security incidents, document and report incidents, and provide supervision through scheduling, onboarding, training, and compliance/quality assurance.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum two (2) years of successful field supervisory experience in civilian law enforcement, military service, security force operations, or commercial/industrial security environments (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience).
•High school diploma or GED required; additional education in criminal justice, security management, law enforcement, military studies, or related fields is preferred.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, including proficiency in report writing and documentation.
•Knowledge of access control, patrol operations, incident response, and physical security principles; ability to manage multiple priorities and staffing requirements.
