Job Summary

Build and evolve payment technology using the SAFe methodology as a Senior Connex Software Development Engineer. You’ll own delivery from design through testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation, automate build/test operations, and drive code and process trade-offs. Lead integration work focused on the customer journey, manage risks and status for key services, and mentor teammates while strengthening automation and end-to-end acceptance testing across UI, APIs, CLIs, Connex, HP NonStop, and databases.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in prioritization discussions and take ownership of delivery tasks across design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation.
•Automate build, operation, and execution of software development and testing activities.
•Drive integration of services to improve the customer journey and experience, and report status and manage risks for key applications/services.
•Contribute to test strategy with BDD-style functional testing and non-functional testing (volume, performance, resilience, availability), designing innovative test scenarios.
•Lead real-time transaction switching and ATM acquiring testing activities, set up and execute test automation frameworks, and investigate and resolve customer-reported technical issues.

Key Requirements

•Highly experienced in Connex development with HP NonStop background.
•Strong understanding of online transaction processing and ATM transaction processing.
•Strong knowledge of TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL and TACL.
•Understanding of EMV and chip-and-PIN technology.
•Hands-on automation testing expertise using open-source tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin (BDD) in Agile environments.
