Validate Dell Factory Install processes and software quality for commercial and consumer systems, ensuring sound coverage for Factory-Readiness-Complete/Ready-To-Ship. Partner with development and platform teams to verify install/test scripts, duplicate and troubleshoot factory issues, and build validation strategy across OS, apps, and drivers. Create and implement test/process documentation while aligning with developers and project managers on quality readiness and fixes.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to Factory-Readiness-Complete or Ready-To-Ship by validating with sound coverage for sustaining and NPI platforms.
•Verify install/test scripts with the development team.
•Duplicate and troubleshoot factory issues with the platform team.
•Develop, review, and implement validation strategy for OS, app, driver, and related test processes.
•Attend regular meetings with developers/project managers and draft/review/implement process documentation within the FI Validation team.

Key Requirements

•Validated knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, network, and embedded software/firmware, plus tools and utilities.
•Ability to read and debug python/C scripts.
•Capacity to become proficient in new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience.
•Good communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
•5–8 years of related experience.
