Key Responsibilities

  • •Review English-to-Hungarian translations for technical accuracy, completeness, and fidelity across product data, technical documentation, marketing assets, and web content.
  • •Ensure consistent use of approved Eaton terminology and domain-specific technical language.
  • •Respond to terminology and clarification queries during the translation/review cycle.
  • •Apply translation evaluation and quality assessment principles, including contributing to terminology research and validating/approving new terminology when required.
  • •Provide clear, actionable feedback in the translation management system and approve translated graphical layout after feedback incorporation and DTP completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR Master’s degree in Translation/Specialized Technical Translation.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience proofreading technical content in the electrical engineering field.
  • •Proven experience in technical translation review, technical proofreading, or translation quality assessment.
  • •Strong background in translation quality assurance and review with understanding of translation evaluation methodologies.
  • •Experience with terminology management and controlled language (highly advantageous).
