Job Summary

Maintain Space42 RF gateway systems that enable reliable satellite communication. Monitor gateway performance, troubleshoot RF connectivity issues, optimize signal coverage, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for ground stations and support equipment, including power/UPS, cooling, and air conditioning. Coordinate technical operations (including installations/modifications and testing), perform emergency response and root-cause analysis, and support procurement and obsolescence management for RF components and gateways.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support for Space42 gateways and UBS, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
•Maintain RF systems to ensure operational efficiency and 24/7 system availability.
•Execute technical operations to ensure system integrity and reliability, including construction/installation and testing for new or modified equipment.
•Perform emergency/corrective maintenance and periodic preventive maintenance for all Space42 gateways and ground support equipment.
•Coordinate with NOCs, service providers, and contractors for maintenance/troubleshooting scheduling, and support procurement and obsolescence management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
•5-7 years of experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting RF/Broadcast/SATCOM systems.
•2+ years working on projects, with experience maintaining local/remote baseband, IF, and RF, including antennas.
•Knowledge of corrective/preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and logging.
•Hands-on experience with test and measurement tools (e.g., spectrum analyser, signal generator, power meter, multimeter) and ability to meet working-at-height/PPE safety requirements.
