Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with customers through tickets to onboard BYO-BGP services and troubleshoot performance issues across availability, reachability, latency, and jitter.
  • •Research network events to identify technical debt, architecture issues, or process problems, and drive end-to-end improvements.
  • •Compose, review, and test procedure documentation to support scheduled maintenance and reduce customer impact.
  • •Coordinate with internal teams to ensure network issues, including automation, are resolved quickly.
  • •Troubleshoot issues across any layer of the OSI Model.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with network operations troubleshooting, planning, and deployment of network changes.
  • •1-2 years of experience with BGP-based networks, including Internet-scale routing tables, IRR/RIR, RPKI, routing and peering policies.
  • •Understanding of VxLAN and EVPN.
  • •Basic Linux administration experience (Debian preferred), including kernel routes and tools such as iptables/nftables/ebtables/ipset, plus FRR and Bird (preferred).
  • •Understanding of cloud networking including VPCs, NFV, Direct Connect, and IPsec.
