Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct maintenance test flying to ensure compliance with technical manuals, OEM flight manuals, safety standards, and Transport Canada regulations.
  • •Evaluate and troubleshoot airframes and onboard systems, identifying technical issues and coordinating solutions with relevant departments.
  • •Support customer deliveries, new helicopter completions (NHC), major alterations/repairs (MAR), ferry flights, and flight test/STC compliance programs.
  • •Deliver comprehensive ground school instruction and conduct flight training for initial and recurrent pilot courses, including normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures.
  • •Prepare pre-flight/post-flight documentation, perform risk assessments and flight planning, report occurrences/safety hazards, and maintain high operational readiness and safety culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Habitation in the Niagara vicinity or a commitment to resettle.
  • •Transport Canada Commercial Helicopter License (or higher) with IFR Group 4 and a valid, unrestricted Class 1 Medical.
  • •Minimum 2,000 total helicopter flight hours, including 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) and 1,000 hours in turbine-powered helicopters.
  • •Minimum 100 hours instrument flight time (IFR) and at least 100 flight hours completed within the past 12 months.
  • •Demonstrated experience in multi-engine helicopters plus proven flight and ground instruction experience (including post-maintenance flight test experience).
