Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the period-end close process and annual accounts signoff, including Saracen reporting.
  • •Supervise the team’s performance and manage stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and complete information.
  • •Drive strategic and tactical transformation by reviewing end-to-end processes and controls and strengthening upstream/downstream links.
  • •Ensure analytical review, control, and compliance with IFRS and Local GAAP for inputs into the GFR process.
  • •Present financial reports to senior stakeholders, and certify balance sheet accounts with assurance and control/design effectiveness related to substantiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognized professional accounting qualification with 15+ years of experience, including leadership experience.
  • •Ability to manage and lead ledger close and reporting processes, including end-to-end annual account review and signoff with auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • •Proficient in financial statement closure and reporting procedures.
  • •Experience operating in senior governance forums and handling auditors.
  • •Experience designing, implementing, and validating the effectiveness of process controls.
