Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary on-site safety leader for the assigned distribution center.
  • •Lead implementation and sustained execution of company safety standards, policies, programs, and network initiatives.
  • •Oversee response and investigations for injuries, incidents, near misses, and hazards, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • •Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, conduct safety audits/inspections/risk assessments, maintain safety documentation, and support regulatory inspections.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop the safety team (Safety Supervisor and Safety Specialists where applicable) and ensure appropriate safety coverage across shifts.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •5–7+ years of Safety/EHS experience, preferably in distribution, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or another high-volume operational environment.
  • •2–3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • •Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general industry safety practices.
  • •Ability to influence operational leaders and drive measurable safety improvements in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
