Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and supervise field crews performing construction preparation, site preparation, grading, and related field operations.
  • •Manage multiple projects simultaneously by executing project schedules, completing work safely/on time, and meeting scope and quality expectations.
  • •Read, interpret, and execute work based on civil construction plans, grading plans, and project specifications; coordinate daily activities across crews and external partners.
  • •Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to field personnel while maintaining accountability for productivity and safety.
  • •Operate and oversee heavy equipment as needed and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in commercial construction or an adjacent role, with experience in heavy civil construction, earthwork, grading, or site development.
  • •3+ years of experience as a foreman/people manager, including leadership of field personnel in fast-paced construction or heavy equipment environments.
  • •Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings, grading plans, and site plans, and to execute work from project specifications.
  • •Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, manpower coordination, and on-time project delivery while coordinating vendors and subcontractors.
  • •Hands-on experience operating dozers and grading equipment; OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR are preferred; experience with Trimble Grade Control Systems is preferred.
