Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate welding equipment in Transformer assembly lines for general production work.
  • •Use weld fabrication equipment including plasma arc torch, TIG/MIG welders, robotic MIG welder, grinders, drills, and required tooling.
  • •Work from basic prints, computer readouts, written and verbal instructions, and material lists when complete prints aren’t available.
  • •Operate material handling equipment including bridge cranes, jib cranes, and hand trucks as needed.
  • •Place weld-on and bolt-on covers and perform pressure tests using air and soap; weld aluminum/copper and stainless/mild-steel covers as needed.

  • •Minimum 1 year of assembly experience.

  • •Must pass the Eaton General Welding Test.
