Job Summary

Own end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close for global entities, ensuring accurate general ledger reporting and consolidated financial statements. Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close processes across global entities, ensuring timely, accurate general ledger reporting and consolidated financial statements.
•Lead global intercompany operations including billing, cash settlements, transfer pricing execution, foreign exchange gain/loss analysis, and elimination entries.
•Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to operationalize new intercompany agreements, entity launches, and transfer pricing methodologies into scalable processes.
•Drive the design, implementation, and documentation of SOX-compliant internal controls across GL operations and intercompany processes.
•Execute strategic GL projects including M&A integration, new entity set-ups, and ERP enhancements in NetSuite.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•CPA with 9+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years managing direct reports, with public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with applied knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 implementation/documentation.
•Managed end-to-end month-end close processes across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.
•Led multi-entity intercompany accounting processes such as eliminations, FX revaluation, or global consolidations.
•Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools (Snowflake, Looker or similar) and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), ideally in fintech/crypto environments.
