Staff AI Engineer - Enterprise Architecture

Build and operate production-grade agentic AI systems within Amex Technology, serving multiple enterprise products. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll drive technical direction for architecture patterns, autonomy boundaries, and system design, lead technical design reviews, and evolve shared capabilities spanning orchestration, planning, tool use, RAG pipelines, LLM infrastructure, and evaluation/safety tooling. Partner with Product and UX to influence what gets built and how systems come together across teams.
