Key Responsibilities

•Own overall production and content for newscasts on broadcast and digital platforms.
•Write news scripts, teases, and headlines; edit video for broadcast and digital.
•Execute live shots and coordinate with anchors during live newscasts.
•Respond to breaking news with accurate, urgent updates and create online video intros/leads.
•Create and publish digital content (videos, photos, text articles, and podcasts) and curate YouTube channels; manage livestreams when needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25 - 30 hourly

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience as a broadcast line producer and/or digital producer.
•Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or a related field.
•At least 1 year of prior news editing experience.
•Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and/or other editing programs.
•Experience working with online publishing tools or a content management system, with knowledge of AP style writing guidelines.
