Job Summary

Lead and continuously enhance the Internal Audit function across Kerzner’s global portfolio of ultra-luxury hospitality properties. Oversee risk-based audit planning and engagements aligned to IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, provide independent assurance to the Audit Committee and Board, and drive coverage of governance, internal controls, fraud risk management, cybersecurity oversight, ESG governance, and regulatory compliance. Partner with Executive Management with independent recommendations while maintaining objectivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and continuously enhance the Internal Audit Function, including a multi-year strategy and vision/roadmap aligned to GIAS and leading practices.
•Develop and manage risk-based internal audit plans, and present priorities, budgets, and audit outcomes to the Audit Committee and Executive Leadership.
•Oversee audit and advisory engagements to ensure conformity with GIAS and approved methodologies; monitor timely implementation of recommendations.
•Serve as principal advisor to the Audit Committee and provide independent assurance regarding governance, risk management, internal controls, fraud investigations, and regulatory concerns.
•Provide enterprise risk management and internal control assurance (including annual control opinions) and oversee technology/cybersecurity assurance and fraud risk management activities.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•Professional certifications required, including CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
•Minimum 15+ years of progressive internal audit, risk management, controls, governance, or public accounting experience.
•8–10+ years in senior internal audit leadership roles with team management responsibility and Board/Audit Committee interaction.
•Deep knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, SOX) and risk management principles, plus accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP).
