  • •Prepare for on-site installations by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating with other trades.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; typically 2–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience (technical school or formal training preferred).
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics troubleshooting, direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
  • •Current or future participation in an ABC electrical apprenticeship program is desired.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations; previous DDC controls experience is preferred.
