Key Responsibilities

•Write manufacturing plans and instructions aligned to engineering specifications, quality requirements, safety needs, and security requirements.
•Generate Bills of Material (BOMs) and participate in tooling reviews with evaluation and feedback on tool designs.
•Review hardware for compliance and produce work/rework/repair documentation to support production activities.
•Troubleshoot to support production activities and project delivery, identifying causes of defects.
•Improve processes by updating work instructions, tooling, processes, programs, or equipment; present findings at the Corrective Action Board (CAB).

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
•Engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
•Working knowledge of military and commercial manufacturing processes.
•Working knowledge of ERP and MES systems (SAP/CMES preferred).
•Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methods, including statistical process control concepts.
