Job Summary

Provide technical support to strengthen Ukraine’s preparedness for and response to measles outbreaks, with a focus on improving infection prevention and control (IPC) practices and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) actions. Update national measles outbreak preparedness and response recommendations, contribute to IPC/AMR interventions, support stakeholder engagement, and help draft proposed activities for the 2027–2028 AMR prevention National Action Plan through defined deliverables and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Update technical recommendations for measles outbreak preparedness and response, including intra-hospital measles transmission prevention and management approaches.
•Contribute to strengthening the national AMR and IPC agenda, including drafting proposed 2027–2028 AMR prevention National Action Plan activities.
•Document best practices across priority IPC, AMR, and healthcare quality topics, including IPC practices and hand hygiene/glove use.
•Support stakeholder engagement and coordination for AMR/IPC implementation by organizing and facilitating consultations.
•Produce technical reports and deliverables within the defined timelines and working days.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180 daily

Key Requirements

•First university degree in Medicine or Public Health, with specialized/postgraduate training in epidemiology or a related field.
•Five years’ experience working in hospital epidemiology and IPC.
•Knowledge of national and international best practices in infection prevention and control.
•Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian; English knowledge is an asset.
•Proficiency in standard computer applications and strong communication skills; advanced epidemiological tools are desirable.
