Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop structural test strategies for printed circuit boards, including functional test, flying probe, and in-circuit test platforms.
  • •Translate product design requirements into manufacturable solutions with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) alignment.
  • •Design and develop test fixtures (hardware and software), including documentation, validation, and release to production.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality and reliability, addressing complex test and manufacturing challenges.
  • •Provide technical support to manufacturing, including hands-on debug of test systems, and contribute time-scale estimates for project plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • •5+ years of experience in PCBA test design/development engineering or a similar role.
  • •Proven experience developing test strategies, including test coverage calculation and test method/equipment optimization for quality and cost.
  • •Hands-on programming experience with LabVIEW and/or NI Teststand (LabVIEW CVI knowledge is an advantage).
  • •Knowledge of PCBA test development, including bed-of-nails and/or flying probe testing, plus familiarity with production test equipment and PCB/fixture design.
