Key Responsibilities

  • •Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical/mechanical diagnosis.
  • •Maintain a high knowledge level of high-voltage (HV), low-voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems.
  • •Follow correct repair order documentation procedures (The Three C’s).
  • •Use the appropriate software suite to properly document customer vehicle interactions.
  • •Collaborate with the service team and customers, and demonstrate/teach technical skills/knowledge to others.

Key Requirements

  • •2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair experience.
  • •Knowledge of high-voltage (HV) systems, low-voltage (LV) systems, and electric vehicle powertrains.
  • •Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
  • •EPA 609 Certification (and willingness to complete CPR training post hire).
