Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership, coaching, and day-to-day supervision to Specialist Technical Project Leads.
  • •Oversee delivery of the technology program across performance metrics including health, safety, environment, cost, schedule, quality, resources, and economic benefits.
  • •Coordinate project governance meetings and maintain transparency on priorities, milestones, and delivery risks.
  • •Support Project Leads to develop scopes, business cases, risk assessments, schedules, and investment approval materials.
  • •Ensure effective transitions through proof of concept and implementation stages, including cost/value monitoring, risk/opportunity management, and operational readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •A tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, or process engineering).
  • •Significant relevant industry experience, ideally within mining, processing, refining, smelting operations, or another complex industrial environment.
  • •Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading engineering, technology, or operational improvement projects.
  • •Sound commercial acumen managing project budgets, forecasts, and investment outcomes.
