Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems at a fast-paced pork processing plant, ensuring safe and efficient operation of motors, controls, lighting, and power distribution. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime, using schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues quickly. Follow LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), ensure compliance with OSHA/NEC, document work, and collaborate with maintenance and plant teams to keep production running.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including motors, control panels, lighting, wiring, and power distribution.
•Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
•Diagnose and repair electrical issues to minimize downtime and keep production flowing.
•Follow safety protocols, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMPs, and comply with OSHA and NEC.
•Maintain records of electrical maintenance/repairs and collaborate with maintenance and plant teams to prioritize tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30.16 - 36.09 hourly

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and 2+ years of related experience (or equivalent education/experience), required.
•PLC experience is highly desired.

•Able to function effectively in a team environment and interact with team personnel and outside contractors.
•Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
