Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to target and secure new aviation work across Queensland.
  • •Cultivate and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, including international and regional airports and ADF/NZDF stakeholders.
  • •Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, tenders, and expressions of interest for commercial and defence aviation projects.
  • •Take overall responsibility for the successful and profitable delivery of complex aviation projects, on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with Civil, Electrical and Structural leads to integrate multi-disciplinary inputs into aviation projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Ideally 15+ years’ experience in airside infrastructure engineering design, aviation pavement design, pavement condition assessment and evaluation.
  • •Experience with commercial airport clients (international or regional) and/or the Defence sector (ADF/NZDF), including procurement, security and technical requirements.
  • •Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and managing a technical project delivery team.
  • •A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field; Chartered Engineer / RPEQ is highly desirable.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of CASA, FAA, IATA and ICAO standards and guidelines.
