Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer focused on space-grade metallic components to support the Nyx vehicle. You’ll coordinate with design, product assurance, and procurement to ensure manufacturing quality, drive supplier development, and help deliver final hardware from engineering models to flight-ready structures in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Job Function: Industrial, Process & Manufacturing Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Technical exchanges with suppliers about manufacturing of metallic structural parts; act as a technical liaison between the company and its suppliers, facilitating clear and open communication to address manufacturing issues promptly
•Monitor suppliers industrial process, and propose improvements to ensure final product meets requirements
•Supervise supplier development roadmaps from TRL 4-5 up to TRL 9, assuring proper technology development
•Partner with Product Assurance to monitor supplier quality control plans, standards, focusing on NDT and material certifications
•Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to deliver final products from engineering models to final flight models per schedule

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace engineering, Material and Processes engineering, Mechanical engineering or any related area.
•At least 7 years of experience as manufacturing engineer, focus on space-graded metallic components is mandatory
•Deep knowledge of high-performance alloys (Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel) and manufacturing methods such as 5-axis machining, sheet metal bending, coating, heat treatment, ALM (Additive Layer Manufacturing), and forging
•Significant experience in the manufacturing of welded metallic structures (e.g., TIG, Electron Beam or Friction Stir Welding) and the associated inspection standards
•Familiarity with spacecraft primary structures, pressure vessels, or re-entry vehicle hardware may be an asset
