Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert technical input on blast and protection engineering; lead the design of blast protection provisions and CFD modelling.
  • •Oversee production/workload management for blast-related projects; develop work plans and ensure quality management.
  • •Engage with clients and sector leads to understand goals and formulate effective solutions; liaise with Building Engineering teams.
  • •Contribute to business development initiatives, including sales and work winning.
  • •Undertake detailed risk assessments to determine threat severity and appropriate treatments.

Key Requirements

  • •Broad technical knowledge of security with in-depth expertise in blast analysis and design.
  • •Expertise in blast modelling and CFD to capture blast wave-structure interaction.
  • •Proficiency with ANSYS, AutoDyn, or similar software for 3D finite element modelling.
  • •Strong understanding of physical security solutions and performance standards.
  • •Experience in threat reduction, structural vulnerability analyses, façade and glass evaluation, and high-speed impact analysis.
