Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and deliver fact-based analysis for strategic regulatory business decisions, integrating corporate and business unit strategies into cohesive, executable plans.
  • •Assess the impact of proposed legislation and/or rulings on current company regulatory strategies.
  • •Develop strategic positions and competitive methodologies that reflect corporate and business unit priorities and regulatory constraints.
  • •Maintain expertise on structural and public economic issues as energy public policy evolves at state and federal levels.
  • •Create and maintain relationships with regulators and policymakers; lead cross-functional teams and may require FERC Gas training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • •Seven years of demonstrated effectiveness in regulatory/governmental compliance, litigation, rates, or corporate policy development based on regulatory rules.
  • •Broad understanding of the company’s business.
  • •Expertise in the strategy development process.
  • •Working knowledge of the public policy development process.
