Key Responsibilities

  • •Source and develop new trim materials/suppliers aligned to Brand/BU requirements through “buy ready” approval for seasonal garment development.
  • •Research material trends and present market-relevant trim concepts to Design and Product development teams at the material design stage.
  • •Manage trim selection and supplier development based on location, lead-time, quality, performance, and price, including timeline execution.
  • •Approve base test reports, issue material trim reference codes, resolve borderline trims, and validate RSL compliance with effective dates.
  • •Maintain and update the trim library and ensure full trim specifications are verified and uploaded into the material repository, including color lab dip approvals and carry-over trim checks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Textile, Fashion, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in material and/or trim development within apparel, accessories, or related industries.
  • •Strong knowledge of trims (e.g., heat transfers, labels, zippers, elastics, drawcords, snaps, and other garment components).
  • •Solid understanding of material/trim construction, development, commercialization, testing, and supplier management.
  • •Fluent English (written and spoken) and good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
