Job Summary

Determine performance of plant systems by acquiring and analyzing data using specialized test equipment for engine/compressor systems. Provide corrective actions and technical support for operations and maintenance, including training, equipment failure analysis, and development of standard practices. Conduct GHG data collection, direct measurements/meter readings, equipment calibrations and QA/QC checks, and gas quality sampling. Support capital and O&M improvement project identification while ensuring reliable documentation and reporting.

•Provide technical assistance for operations and maintenance, including training on equipment operations and maintenance procedures.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in a technical field and/or at least 5 years of direct, active work experience with natural gas industry compressors.
•Thorough understanding of mechanical operations of engine/compressor equipment and auxiliary systems.
•Experience using specialized test equipment to provide corrective actions for engine and compressor performance issues.
•Good analytical, computer, verbal, and written skills, and ability to work cohesively with operations personnel to resolve technical problems.
•Knowledge of GHG regulations (including EPA/MRR and other state regulations) sufficient to meet programmatic requirements; must maintain a valid driver’s license.
