Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a safety leader by adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • •Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities while minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • •Communicate with crew to identify safety issues, follow through with corrective actions, and report progress via safety meeting minutes and Supervisor Incident Reports (SIRs).
  • •Set and monitor performance targets, and provide input to the operating budget and cost/variance.
  • •Support continuous improvement, incident investigations, RCA/5 Why reviews, and help develop employees through the apprenticeship program.

Key Requirements

  • •Journeyperson Millwright with a minimum seven (7) years’ experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • •One (1) year of lead-hand supervisory experience.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications.
  • •Effective communication with the crew and all levels of management, ensuring continual feedback.
  • •Working knowledge of MSHA Standards and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
