Job Summary

Provide high-quality commercial planning advice across the full development process for a range of complex projects, including regeneration, tall buildings, housing, retail, logistics, energy and listed building reuse. Lead client meetings, manage project delivery with budgetary control, and support multidisciplinary teams. Oversee major developments and negotiations with planning authorities and stakeholders, manage key client relationships, and help lead tenders, framework bids, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide planning advice to clients at all stages of the development process.
•Work with multidisciplinary teams on planning projects and lead client meetings.
•Manage projects with budgetary control and project delivery oversight.
•Support more junior staff and collaborate with colleagues on multi-disciplinary advice with clients and statutory bodies.
•Lead tenders and framework bids, manage key client relationships, and pursue active business development/profile raising.

Key Requirements

•Experience in the planning process, including EIA, EIP/plan promotion, and appeals.
•Experience managing and delivering major developments and associated negotiations with planning authorities and stakeholders.
•Ability to project-manage multidisciplinary teams to a high standard.
•Client management experience with private sector consultancy experience and strong client relationship skills.
•MRTPI qualified.
