Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop standards for controls programming.
  • •Lead equipment scopes from concept and modeling validation through procurement, engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, ramp, and handover.
  • •Manage external equipment providers, technology licensors, and engineering companies to deliver integrated mineral refining controls scopes.
  • •Drive cross-functional technical scale-up with lab technicians, pilot plant engineers, process engineers, and project engineers to de-risk commercialization.
  • •Support hiring, mentorship, and day-to-day management of junior process engineers; develop technoeconomic models and deliver bankable engineering outputs for due diligence.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them to solve challenging problems.
  • •Experience with equipment engineering and design, including brownfield modifications/upgrades and greenfield equipment design.
  • •Experience evaluating and optimizing operating equipment for performance.
  • •Experience in industrial manufacturing and large-scale mining/mineral processing or large-scale chemical production environments.
  • •Experience with direct or indirect leadership of engineers and technicians and execution of medium to large scale (>$5M) capital projects.
