Job Summary

Support Zurich’s UK Actuarial Reserving Retail team within the SME sub-teams by setting up and refining processes to update SME segmentation and running quarterly reserve reviews. Produce technical reserves (gross and reinsurance) and cash flow projections, provide actionable insights to Finance, Pricing, Underwriting and Claims, and support internal and external audits with compliant actuarial data. Use ResQ and analytical skills to improve processes and ensure IFRS and Solvency II reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and refine processes, including new ResQ projects and projections, to enable updated SME segmentation.
•Prepare and perform quarterly reserve reviews, including loss projections, technical reserves calculations (gross and reinsurance), and cash flow projections.
•Provide Finance, Pricing, Underwriting and Claims teams with actionable insights into underlying performance and implications.
•Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors by supporting audit activities, supplying actuarial data, explanations, and documentation while ensuring compliance.
•Ensure timely, accurate reserving data and actuarial bookings for IFRS and Solvency II reporting.
