Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop control algorithms for battery management systems (BMS), including thermal management, charging, and power distribution.
  • •Develop and validate physics or data based battery state estimation algorithms (SOC, SOH, SOF).
  • •Design and implement control and protection strategies (OV/UV, OC, cell balancing, thermal limits).
  • •Build and validate system models in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for control development and verification.
  • •Generate production-quality embedded code for deployment on microcontrollers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Solid understanding of battery systems, including SOC/SOH estimation and cell balancing techniques.

  • •Understanding of battery sensing, high-voltage systems, and BMS architecture.
  • •Knowledge of control theory and state estimation methods (e.g., Kalman filtering).
