Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide scientific technical support to R&D laboratories in line with Health and Safety and Good Laboratory Standards.
  • •Manage stock and lab consumables: daily replenishment at point of use, inventory maintenance, and pipette inventory organization/calibration schedules.
  • •Handle biological workflows and logistics, including handling cell and sample deliveries and receiving/unpacking temperature-sensitive parcels.
  • •Perform routine decontamination and related equipment upkeep, including incubators, water baths, cell counter, class II cabinets, and water purification units.
  • •Support laboratory operations such as aseptic aliquoting of reagents for tissue culture and basic media preparation, plus glassware/plastics washing and sterilisation services.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience of working in a laboratory environment.
  • •Knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory environment and the ability to follow Health and Safety and Good Laboratory Standards.
  • •Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively.
  • •Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • •Flexibility with working hours to deliver required service to customers.
