Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, analyze, and continuously update CEE-tailored policy documentation aligned with TikTok’s global Trust and Safety standards.
  • •Design and implement enforcement strategies across hateful behavior, violent behavior, dangerous actors, mental health, integrity & authenticity, and human exploitation.
  • •Serve as the primary policy contact for the CEE region, leading responses to content safety issues and escalations.
  • •Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with senior regional stakeholders and teams across Product, Operations, Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations.
  • •Monitor emerging social media trends, user behaviors, and regulatory developments in CEE markets to inform policy design and align with community guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of proven experience in policy development, enforcement, or public policy in technology, social media, or content moderation environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of the CEE region and experience with Trust and Safety Policy teams.
  • •Fluency in English & Russian to engage effectively with local stakeholders and global teams.
  • •Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex policy concepts to diverse audiences.
  • •Ability to apply sound judgment and maintain composure in fast-paced, ambiguous situations with data-informed decision-making.
