Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the microbiologist team day to day to ensure work is completed on time according to Good Control Laboratory Practice.
  • •Ensure microbial test results are checked, approved, recorded, and available for inspection, aligned with Good Manufacturing & Control Laboratory Practices.
  • •Support microbiology laboratory quality systems and apply microbiology investigations defined in SOPs.
  • •Collate, trend, and interpret microbiological results; provide updates to Site Hygienist and escalate confirmed OOS/OOT results per global standards and local SOPs.
  • •Organize schedules for environment monitoring, ensure equipment/instruments are maintained and calibrated, and mentor less experienced team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • •Minimum 5 years of microbiology experience in a manufacturing site, preferably in multinational pharmaceutical environments.

  • •Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
