Job Summary

Act as a senior business analyst for the Health Plan Solutions team, bridging client business teams and NTT DATA’s technical staff. Gather and clarify requirements, produce URDs/SRS and functional specifications, and guide Agile delivery across enhancements for platforms like Xcelys. Partner with developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to validate usability, compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and scalability, while supporting testing, deployment, and post-go-live continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead requirements elicitation and analysis with stakeholders, SMEs, and product owners; translate high-level inputs into structured requirements and URDs/SRS.
•Convert business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance guidance; support wireframes/mock-ups and UI behavior alignment with workflows.
•Serve as the point of contact between business and technical teams; run requirement walkthroughs and collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and data/analytics teams.
•Support testing and implementation by reviewing test cases, clarifying expected behavior, participating in defect triage, and helping verify deployments meet documented needs.
•Maintain functional documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security policies (e.g., HIPAA), supporting post-go-live feedback and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•6+ years as a Business Analyst (or directly related analytical role) and demonstrated experience eliciting and documenting software requirements for enterprise applications.
•Strong ability to independently author Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specs/URDs/SRS, with exceptional documentation and analytical problem-solving skills.
•In-depth understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban), including work with user stories, acceptance criteria, backlogs, and sprints in JIRA or Azure DevOps.
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including leading requirement workshops and presenting complex ideas clearly.
