Coordinate and manage on-site tooling for RTX's Leighton Buzzard operation, ensuring tooling stock is allocated, calibrated, and available for the technical team. Lead tool kit creation, inductions, and tool loans, while maintaining tooling databases and coordinating with vendors for quotes and repairs. Support process improvements in tooling management and provide admin support to the site.

Key Responsibilities

•To manage the stock of site tooling in support of the technical team.
•Tool kit creations – ensuring all tooling is present and allocated.
•New Tool Induction and Tool Loans (Process improvement and Execution).
•Support calibration service providers and follow-up in the event of out-of-tolerance notification.
•Maintain the tooling database and assist with tooling projects and tooling management systems.

Key Requirements

•HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant tooling experience
•Experience managing tooling stock, calibration, and supplier coordination

•Experience handling tool loans, shipping preparation, and keeping tooling databases
•Strong administrative and data management skills to support the technical team
