Key Responsibilities

  • •Run molecular cloning and protein production end to end: PCR, assembly, transformation, expression (bacterial and/or mammalian), and purification.
  • •Execute and improve QC and characterization assays, including capillary electrophoresis, sequencing, SDS-PAGE, and binding/expression/stability assays.
  • •Improve flaky or slow workflows by making protocols more reliable and faster with fewer failures.
  • •Work hands-on with liquid handlers and lab automation, and move manual protocols toward automation.
  • •Document precisely, track samples, ensure reproducibility/traceability, and diagnose/fix failures across biology, reagents, and instruments.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on molecular biology experience including PCR, cloning, transformation, and electrophoresis; ideally protein expression and purification.
  • •Studying or recently graduated in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Comfort with liquid-handling automation and interest in automating repetitive steps; scripting in Python is a plus.
  • •Self-starter who can identify what needs doing and complete tasks without waiting for direction.
  • •Uses AI tools to learn faster and work smarter; applies high standards to ensure experiments are correct.
